ESPN has revealed a massive announcement concerning College GameDay.

The company’s reveal comes after the return of the iconic Lee Corso, who appeared in the Week 8 edition of the hit program.

Ahead of Week 9, ESPN released an announcement on recent viewership from some of their primetime games.

The network’s Week 8 game featured games between Texas and Georgia, Alabama and Tennesee, and Miami and Louisville.

ESPN’s Public Relations shared the viewership numbers for the contests.

ABC received the most-watched tripleheader in its history.

Georgia’s 30-15 victory over Texas averaged 13.2 million viewers.

Miami’s 52-45 win over Louisville got 4.3 million viewers.

And Tennesee’s 24-17 upset win over Alabama received an average of 10.8 million viewers.

That game peaked at 14.9 million viewers.

The Texas-Georgia peaked at 14.4 million viewers.

It was the most-watched regular-season primetime game on any sports network since 2014.

Also, it was ESPN’s best regular-season college football game since 2016 according to the network.
