She joined husband Prince William for the annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

And Kate’s tribute to Diana was quickly spotted by fans.

She was seen wearing the Collingwood Pearl Earrings , previously belonging to her mother-in-law.

Kate paired Princess Diana’s earrings with the Nura Pearl Necklace that she has previously worn on multiple occasions, including during her 2022 jaunt to Copenhagen and while out and about in London in 2023.

The Princess let her luscious brown locks fall in a bouncy blow-dry with a side parting.

She wore a simple black coat to the event, adhering to royal protocol for Remembrance Day services and events.

Kate Middleton accessorised her evening look with a black Chanel clutch and her diamond and sapphire engagement ring, which once belonged to her late mother-in-law.

Her earrings, a favourite of the Spencer family, were a gift to the late Princess from Collingwood.

Diana often wore them to public events, including an evening at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., in November 1985.

Kate previously wore the pearl drop earrings in 2017 for the Spanish state visit at Buckingham Palace.

The Prince of Wales, also 42, gently placed his hand on his wife’s back as they exited their car and made their way up the stairs to the main entrance.

Both wearing poppies, with Kate’s appearing to be RAF-themed, they were later seen conversing after taking their seats next to each other.

She has previously worn a cluster of poppies rather than a single one.

On Sunday, the Princess of Wales will join royals at the Cenotaph war memorial in London for the annual Remembrance Sunday service led by King Charles.

Kate’s outing marks a significant step in the brave princess’ return to public duties, having eight months ago revealed she had an undisclosed form of cancer.

The secret signal Kate Middleton sends with her handbags

THE Queen was known for using her trademark Launer handbag to signal to her staff how she was really feeling in public.

According to royal historian Hugo Vickers, if the Queen was at an event and she wanted to end a chat, she would shift her bag from her usual left side onto the right.

And Kate has a similar trick with clutch bags that she’s regularly seen carrying.

According to Myka Meier, founder of Beaumont Etiquette, when Kate is at an event, she “holds her bag in front of her in both hands when shaking hands might be awkward.”

Etiquette coach William Hanson added to Good Housekeeping: “By holding something like her clutch bag, it is perhaps giving her an ‘excuse’ to not extend her hand to everyone.

“She can’t shake the hands of everyone she meets – the Duchess would be there all day!”
