Penrith Panthers premiership hero Dylan Edwards has capped off his biggest year yet by marrying long-time partner Nadine — despite the late hiccup of a much-needed operation.
The 28-year-old fullback won his fourth NRL grand final with the Panthers this season while also locking down the No.1 jumper for NSW in State of Origin and the Kangaroos.
But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing.

Penrith teammate Nathan Cleary’s shoulder woes have been well publicised but Edwards has managed his own troubles for the past two years largely in secret.
He lifted the Pacific Championships trophy with Australia on November 13 then underwent fresh scans the following day.
Penrith officials decided surgery was the best course of action — and so, just five days before the wedding, Edwards went under the knife.
Just like Cleary, who had the same operation about 10 days earlier, it has left him racing the clock to be fit for Round 1 at the start of March next year.
The wedding, though, went off seemingly without a hitch on Tuesday.
“My forever,” Edwards wrote as the couple shared their first photos on Friday.
Remarkably, this is not the first time a shoulder injury has coincided with a personal milestone.
Nadine gave birth to the couple’s first daughter in March 2018 — and the following month Edwards was out of action after undergoing a season-ending operation.
They welcomed a second daughter in November 2019 and both children were involved in the wedding celebrations.
Panthers teammates and big names from around the NRL rushed to congratulate Mr and Mrs Edwards.
“Congrats my brother,” Cleary wrote.
Mitch Kenny said: “Congrats brother. Love you guys.”
Former teammate Stephen Crichton, who celebrated his own off-season wedding to partner Leone last month, said: “Congrats my brother!! Big Loveee!!”
