DRIVERS can earn $2,500 with a “role of a lifetime” side hustle, which just involves eating sandwiches.
Sixt is on the hunt to find out which gas station across the US serves the best hoagies, and is asking US citizens for their help.
For this official ‘Gas Station Hoagie Hunter’ role, the car rental company is looking for a “passionate gas station food connoisseur”.
Applicants must have strong opinions when it comes to sandwiches, and “smile at the idea of turning a roadside pit stop into a five-star culinary adventure.”
Sixt said: “Are you the type of road-tripper who enjoys the journey and discovering hidden gems along the way?
“Is trying new gas station food the highlight of your road trip experience?

Side hustles and tax implications
Extra income you make from side hustles may need to be reported to the IRS.
If you receive more than $600 in gross payouts from a selling platform like eBay, the site will issue you a Form 1099-K to use in your tax return.
Individuals should calculate their adjusted gross income, taxable earnings, and deductions for the year.
Once they have that, they can use the 1040-ES form to calculate estimated taxes.
