The tires can last on the road for at least 65,000 miles.

Goodyear’s Reliant all-season tire sizes range from 15 to 20 inches in diameter.

The tires can fit on some of the most popular car models, including the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Rogue, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, among others.

The bargain deal is making rounds among Walmart customers, with one saying the offer is a no-brainer.

“Don’t think too long on these,” one person wrote.

“At a pretty reasonable price, these tires are a great ride. I bought one to replace a flat tire. A few weeks later decided to just replace the other 3 with the same tire.

“I’m glad I did. I don’t think you can go wrong with the name Goodyear. One of the smoothest rides I’ve had. They sine up pretty well also.”

A second person said, “The Goodyear tires I purchased have been absolutely fantastic.”

“Bought these tires 6,500 miles ago. Since then we drove across country and they’ve exceeded my expectations on the highway and around town,” another customer wrote.

“They handle well and are noticeably quieter than the Michellins they replaced. Plus we got $50 back from Goodyear! What’s not to love.”

A four said, “This tier is good value for money, control well for Honda Odyssey minivan.

“Road noise is not much. You will feel little potholes while driving rest is good. Breaking is also good on this tire.”

Examining the condition of tires

As a driver, it’s important to be able to identify potentially dangerous problems with tires and how to spot precursors. Here’s what to look for:

  1. Regularly examine the tread depth of the tire. It is a great way to understand how much life there is in a tire before it needs to be replaced. You can use an upside-down quarter or a penny to check the depth. If the president’s head can be fully seen, start saving for new tires.
  2. Examine the sidewall for cracks or bubbles, especially after colliding with a curb or median. A bubble may not show up immediately, so it’s important to keep an eye on it for a while before dismissing it.
  3. When inflating a tire with a digital pressure reader, always zero it out before plugging it into the valve to ensure previous data is erased.
  4. Have your tires regularly balanced and rotated at the proper intervals, as tire inspections are a part of the service.
  5. Understand the warranty (if any) that came with the tires. Many times new tires will have a warranty for certain types of damage, and that can help get a damaged tire replaced for free or at a discount.
  6. Learn to read the sidewall of a tire. Even if the tread is within spec, a tire can still be dangerous if it’s too old.
