Former President Donald Trump may have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after narrowly surviving an attempted assassination last month, according to a new report.
Trump, the Republican nominee, sustained an ear injury after a gunman opened fire at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. One person was shot and killed, and two more were injured before a Secret Service sniper killed the gunman, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Trump has been “watching that seven-second clip of how close he was to getting shot right in the head—over and over and over again,” a Republican close to the Trump campaign told Vanity Fair. “He may actually legit have PTSD.”
