SHOPPERS are going crazy over a basic baking ingredient from Dollar Tree.

The item in question is the Domino brand Confectioners Sugar, also known as powdered sugar, used in most sweet baked foods.

Plus, it’s a smooth, fine, and soft powdered sugar used as a finishing touch, frosting, icing, and glazes.

Dollar Tree shoppers have spotted the product for just $1.25 while its rival Walmart sells it for much higher.

Walmart’s $3.57 price tag means the sugar is 65% higher.

However, it’s important to note that the Dollar Tree bag is a 1-pound box while the Walmart box is 2-pound.

The retailer has added LED ceramic trees for $5.

Plus, customers can use free shipping if orders are shipped to local stores.

Next, choose your local Dollar Tree store
Once your order is processed and received by the store, you’ll receive a notification via email telling you that your order is ready to be picked up
When you’re ready, head to the store with the email confirmation, along with a state-issued photo ID or driver’s license

To cancel, Dollar Tree suggests shoppers collect their items within six days from the receipt of your pickup email confirmation.
