CONSPIRACY theorist Alex Jones sobbed into the microphone as he declared that the government is trying to shut down his show, Info Wars.
Jones, 50, is known for his warnings about terrorist attacks and misinformative comments about the 2012 Sandy Hook tragedy.
On Saturday, Infowars posted to its website about the shutdown and said Jones was “live for an emergency Saturday broadcast” about the impending shutdown.
Youtuber Dom Lucre posted a clip of the show on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, “Breaking News: The federal government is attempting to shut down InfoWars and seize Alex Jones studio.”
“They are expected to be raided tonight. This is absolutely unacceptable and it can’t be random that this all happening at the time it is. This is an emergency!”
During his emergency show, he got extremely heated and claimed a war had begun.
“I’ve been under attack. I’ve been gaslit. I’ve had secret federal files on me that I’m committing crimes, referred to the justice department. Which of course wasn’t true, it was already filed in federal court months before,” Jones claimed on Infowars.
He went on to slam those who filed against him saying that if someone was going to “frame someone and lie about them to federal court” they should have known the case was previously filed.
The conspiracy theorist started to yell and curse aggressively as he tried to get his point across, looking around at the others seated at the table.
At one point he yelled, “You want f***ing war, you f***ing got it!”
The two other men at the table sat in silence as he ranted on, waving and jabbing his finger in the air.
“I told you one more f***ing lie and I was going to do this, alright? I try to sustain this place. I didn’t believe that America was as corrupt as this. I didn’t believe we were this f***ed, and we are this f***ed,” he yelled, continuing to slam the US.
“You misjudged who I am, and any of your minions misjudged who I am and you have no idea, no idea,” he fumed.
He continued to yell at the camera, saying “It didn’t matter” if people tried to shut him down.
“I don’t sit there and make threats, I make promises,” he affirmed.
“I haven’t had time yet to dig it out of my phone, but I will,” he said pointing at the camera, “And you will at the end of the day know, that Alex Jones, the American patriot, defeated your evil a**.”
In another clip from the show, Jones could be seen sobbing, with his hand over his face, saying, “At the end of the day we’re going to beat these people. I am not trying to be dramatic here, but it’s been a hard fight. These people hate our children.”
The end of the clip was inaudible while he composed himself.
ALMOST A BILLION IN DAMAGES
Over the years, Jones has been making false claims that the deadly Sandy Hooking that killed 26 people, 20 of whom were children, was a “giant hoax” that was carried out by actors who oppose the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
Families of the victims sued Jones for defamation in both Texas and Connecticut courts.
Jones continued to lose the lawsuits against him and was legally responsible for the damages.
Parents of victims begged him to stop spreading his “dangerous propaganda.”
Those families were paid different amounts over 2022 as juries decided he was responsible.
On August 4, 2022, the jury ruled that Jones had to pay $4 million in compensatory damages to the grieving parents of a Sandy Hook victim.
“Speech is free, but lies you have to pay for,” the family attorney argued in court.
A day later, on August 5, 2022, the jury ruled that Jones had to pay Sandy Hook parents another $45 million in punitive damages.
Later, on October 12, 2022, he was ordered to pay over $950 million in damages, which left the conspiracy theorist bankrupt.
