DENNY’S rival has moved away from its traditional restaurants – but the president promises the “same great value.”

What kicked off 66 years ago as a cozy little pancake house has now blossomed into Perkins American Food Co., marking a big-time makeover in both style and menu.

And after its revamp earlier this year, breakfast chain Perkins American Food Co. is thrilled to announce how they are taking on a fresh take on modern American dining.

Designed with today’s fast-paced lifestyle in mind, Perkins Griddle & Go, offers a sleek, elevated café experience within a compact footprint.

Mark your calendars for late October 2024 because that’s when the first Perkins Griddle & Go location will open its doors, ready to serve up mouthwatering meals.

From traditional street-front retail to non-traditional venues like airports, casinos, hospitals, hotels, travel plazas, and universities.

With just 1,500 square feet of space and seating for 65 guests, this model captures the heart of Perkins while embracing the latest dining trends.

“Perkins Griddle & Go delivers the same great value and quality that have made Perkins a beloved brand, now in a more accessible, convenient, and affordable format,” said Toni Ronayne, President of Perkins American Food Co.

“We are beyond excited to welcome guests into this new model and continue to delight them with high-quality meals at unbeatable prices, keeping them fueled as they navigate their busy lives.

“The smaller footprint allows us to drive brand growth and reach guests in prime locations like colleges, casinos, convenience stores, and more.”

Perkins Griddle & Go will be serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a side of its legendary bakery treats.

The menu is packed with breakfast favorites like omelets and benedicts (now available as bowls), comfort classics, and the specialty Griddle Greats that Perkins is famous for.

New additions include a lineup of breakfast sandwiches, a lighter eats section, and a variety of burgers and sandwiches, perfect for dining in or grabbing on the go.

And for those with a sweet tooth, the famous Perkins Bakery will be dishing out cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, and iconic pies and Mammoth Muffins.

“We’re always evolving to create new foods and experiences that resonate with today’s customers. Perkins Griddle & Go offers hand-crafted, culturally inspired, and generously portioned food that leaves you full without emptying your wallet,” continued Toni.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests into our new restaurant and meet them at the places in their lives that are most convenient.”
