DEION Sanders believes that his son Shedeur will be picked at No.1 by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Shedeur, 22, is among the most coveted prospects set to enter the Draft.
The quarterback is high on most draft boards alongside Cam Ward and Travis Hunter.
With a 2-12 record on the season so far, the Giants are likely to pick at No.1 in April’s Draft.
And two-time Super Bowl champion Sanders, who coaches his son at Colorado, is convinced that Shedeur will end up in New York.
“Giants are not gonna give up their pick,” he told Adam Jones. “They’re not gonna give up their pick.
“Shedeur’s gonna be the number one pick.”
He was then asked more explicitly, “If the Giants are the number one pick, who is the number one pick?”
To which he confidently repeated, “Shedeur’s gonna be the number one pick.”
The Las Vegas Raiders also possess a 2-12 record and are set for a high draft pick.
But Sanders, 57, isn’t sure whether they will select Ward or Hunter.
He added, “That’s when the game starts to play.
“The Raiders could go with Cam or there could be some junk in the game and take Trav.”
Several teams also have 3-11 records and are set for high draft picks; the New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns.
Shedeur has been linked with the Raiders for weeks.
He recently made waves by posting a picture of their 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium home on Instagram.
‘IT’S A NICE STADIUM’
Appearing on The Travis Hunter Show, Sanders was asked about why he made the post.
“I got a few questions related to Las Vegas…You know what I’m talkin’ about, bro, what you posted on your story. Why you posting that?” Hunter asked.
Sanders replied, “Because it’s a nice stadium, bro.
Hunter laughed as he mocked his pal’s response.
“Okay… okay,” he said.
“You’re right it’s a nice stadium, it is a nice stadium.”
