The product has been doing the rounds on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram in recent weeks – but packets aren’t typically easy to come by

Fortunately, you can reportedly nab a $7.99 bag in wholesale giant Costco right now.

The candy in question is Nutty & Fruity’s Peel’d Tangerine, Strawberry, & Mango Peelable Gummies.

One Reddit user took to the online forum’s Costco thread to share details.

“I recently came across some videos on various social media platforms showing these peelable candies, although they were all about the mango flavored ones specifically,” they said.

“I came across this bag over the weekend in Redmond, Washington, which contains three different flavors.

“I had to purchase it just for the novelty.

“There are two distinct textures between the ‘peel’ and the fruit inside.

“They’re fun and tastier than regular gummy candies in my opinion”

A blurb on the sweet treats reads: “Nutty & Fruity Peel’d Gummies offer a delicious and fun snack experience with their tangerine, strawberry, and mango flavors.

“Each gummy is crafted to be peelable, mimicking the experience of peeling real fruit while delivering a burst of fruity flavor.

“Made with high-quality ingredients, these gummies provide a satisfying texture and taste that fruit lovers will enjoy.

“Perfect for on-the-go snacking or a sweet treat, Nutty & Fruity Peel’d Gummies combine playfulness with a delicious fruity twist.”

The general agreement among foodies is that the mango flavor is the superior of the three.

One Reddit user reviewed: “The mango flavor is delicious, the tangerine is okay and the strawberry is straight trash.

Costco membership sharing guidelines

Costco has strict rules for membership use that shoppers must follow and they’ve been cracking down on offenders in recent years.

  • Primary Member Use: Only the primary cardholder can use this Costco membership card. Sharing it for purchases is not allowed as the photo on the card must match the person using it.
  • Household Card: Each primary member can add one free household cardholder who lives at the same address. This person will receive their own membership card and can shop at Costco independently.
  • Guest Policy: Members can bring up to two guests per visit to Costco. However, only the member can make purchases. Guests must be accompanied by the member.
  • Authorized Cardholder: For an additional fee, you can add an authorized cardholder, such as a family member or friend, who doesn’t reside at your address. They will receive their own card and can shop independently.

“There’s a weird chemical aftertaste with the strawberry one.

“I personally like the two distinct textures, but not all people do.

“Peel it with your teeth, not your hands, and you may like the texture more.”

Another responded: “Agreed – the mango is the best of the bunch.

“I only saw videos of people peeling it with their hands so I didn’t think about using my teeth.”
