This year, professional wrestling has had multiple viral moments, ranging from Joe Hendry making his WWE debut to John Cena announcing his retirement tour for 2025.
However, it’s hard to think of a more fun moment than when the Costco Guys (Big Boom AJ and Big Justice) and The Rizzler defeated QT Marshall at AEW Full Gear in November.

While some hardcore wrestling fans will criticize the match, they can’t deny the sheer amount of joy that came out of that match.
All three participants are bona fide stars, and one former All Elite Wrestling talent thinks they’re more popular than the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) wrestler Joey Janela recently took to social media to shut down people who made fun of the Costco Guys and hated their match.
“I love wrestling fans on here s——- on the Costco guys when they are more over and more well known the 90% of professional wrestlers by doing the stupidest f—— videos in the history of the internet & all while never taking a Canadian destroyer,” Janela wrote.

While this is an admirable take, Janela soon received flack for claiming that the Costco Guys were more popular than Roman Reigns.
“If you put Roman Reigns and The Boom crew in the middle of Washington square park unexpectedly a told normal civilians that they could only take a picture with one 70% would choose the Costco guys,” Janela opined.
“Tony should book MJF vs Big boom AJ on the HBO max debut, and watch the ratings go BOOM!”
This is certainly an extreme take, especially considering that he is the second-best-selling wrestler in WWE behind Cody Rhodes.
However, the Costco Guys’ popularity can’t be denied. They have over 2.3 million followers on TikTok and more than a million views on the YouTube video of their song “We Bring the BOOM!”

Given the positive reception for the Costco Guys’ match, there’s a solid chance that fans could see them return in the near future.
“We have such a great time making our TikToks, making our YouTube videos, meeting with some of the greatest creators in the world,” AJ said during the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum.
“I just always knew with professional wrestling, when you come through that curtain, and you feel that connection with the audience, especially here in my home state of New Jersey, there’s no greater feeling in the world.”
