BROCK Bowers looked incredibly awkward during a short and sweet live TV interview.
The Las Vegas Raiders tight end made a surprise appearance during a golf event.
And Bowers, 22, was a man of few words during the live TNT interview.
The rookie has set the NFL alight this year – leading all tight ends in both catches and receiving yards.
He popped up during TNT’s coverage of the golf showdown between the PGA Tour and Liv at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The event happened Tuesday night in the desert less than 24 hours after Bowers played.
And he gave a series of short responses, despite the TNT team’s bid to try and draw answers out of him.
Bowers was asked if he was sore from Monday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
“A little sore but walking around helps,” the rookie replied.
He was then asked about his former college team the Georgia Bulldogs.
Georgia will face either Indiana or Notre Dame in the playoff quarterfinals over New Year after receiving a first round bye.
“I’m excited to go and watch them,” Bowers said.
“We’ll see what they do. I hope they go far. They’ve had some injuries but we’ll see what happens.”
Charles Barkley then told about how Bowers went off against his college team Auburn.
The former NBA star spoke for 30 seconds on the game before handing over to Bowers.
But the tight end simply said, “I appreciate it.”
Fans tuning in for the golf coverage were hardly blown away by Bowers’ interview.
“Yikes, the anti Gronk or Kelce,” one said.
“Such a random person to put on the coverage,” another noted.
Bowers has enjoyed a season as dominant as the likes of Rob Gronkowski or Travis Kelce in their prime.
But he didn’t quite show the same larger-than-life personality during his TNT interview.
Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler scored a convincing win for the PGA team over Liv’s Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka in the showdown.
