It’s been a big few months for Fremantle recruit Shai Bolton as he and partner Hasina welcomed the newest addition to the family earlier this week.
Bolton joined the Dockers on the final day of the trade period after lengthy negotiations between Fremantle and Richmond with the dual premiership player expressing a desire to return home for family reasons.
Amidst the action of the first day of the AFL draft the Bolton family grew with the couple announcing the birth of their second child and first daughter on his Instagram.

Hasnia was the first to comment “our girl” followed by a white love heart.
Bolton’s former Tigers teammates were also quick to send their love.
“Congratulations you two, so cute,” said Daniel Rioli, who left Richmond for Gold Coast in the trade period.
Rioli’s partner Paris Lawrence said: “Congratulations loves. This is so sweet.”
Richmond forward Tom Lynch posted love hearts while retired star Shane Edwards said: “Congrats guys!!!”
Bolton got plenty of love from across the AFL with West Coast Eagles player Tyler Brockman sending love while Hawthorn star Jarman Imprey also wished the couple well.
“Congratulations my bro. Sending love.”
The imminent birth of his second child was a big driver behind Bolton’s desire to return to the west with Fremantle more than happy to pay a big price for the 25-year-old.
The new arrival has delayed Bolton’s start to Fremantle’s pre-season with Shai still in Melbourne as they awaited the birth.
