Champion canoeist Jess Fox has broken up with her long-time partner Mathieu Biazizzo, according to News Corp.
The Aussie Olympian has been in a relationship with Biazizzo for nine years, but it has now been reported that they quietly split up in May this year.
It has been suggested that they have grown apart due to the difficulty of conducting a long-distance relationship over several years (he is French).

The couple — who have a kept a low-profile during their time together — met through their sport.
Biazizzo is also a professional slalom canoeist and has represented France in various world championships.
He won the overall World Cup title in the K1 class in 2016, but his CV pales in comparison with Fox’s, who has achieved it all in a canoe and kayak (three gold medals, a silver and two bronze from four Olympics and 22 world championship medals).
It was only last year when Fox spoke glowingly about her personal life, and hinted at starting a family.
She said she was grateful to have a partner that understood what she went through as a professional athlete.
“There’s always a bit of competition, especially if we’re training together,” Fox said.
“It is really special to be able to share that together.
“And the fact that he understands what I’m going through.
“It also helps that we go to bed early together.”
She also spoke about one day starting a family with Biazizzo.
“Maybe there’ll be an opportunity to see if I want to have a baby and come back,” Fox said.
“They’re conversations that we’ll definitely be having in the next few years, probably.”
Neither Fox or Biazizzo have spoken publicly about the split.
