“There’s two of you guys I am connecting with,” she said in part. The other guy was Bohdan Olinares, a 36-year-old tech sales professional and former Marine.
As we learned from watching their dates in the pods, Bohdan and Marissa had a lot of things in common. They both were military veterans and extroverts, outgoing and playful. But Ramses and Bohdan had some similarities as well. Both had been married before, and the two actually got along. But Ramses expressed some insecurity over the fact that he is in general a more sensitive type of guy, while Bohdan fit the more “masculine” stereotype.
By episode four, it was time for Marissa to make a decision. Ultimately, she went with her heart and broke up with Bohdan.
“My feelings with Ramses are stronger… and they’re also, like, more romantic,” she told him.
Surprisingly (for Love Is Blind, that is), everyone involved handled the whole thing pretty maturely. Bohdan was obviously disappointed but gracious, and the two ended on good terms. Free to date exclusively, Ramses and Marissa continued to bond. Finally in episode five, he proposed. When the two met IRL for the first time, they were both positively giddy.
“Oh my god, he’s so gorgeous!” Marissa screamed after their first meeting.

In Mexico, the couple’s connection got hotter. Like way hotter, and I’m not talking about the weather. They were all over each other and admitted to the cameras that they had consummated the relationship several times shortly after arriving.
By the cocktail party, the couple seemed to be in complete bliss. While other podmates joked that they were funny because they looked “alike,” everyone seemed to be touched by their obvious spark — and maybe even a little jealous.
“We’re hot and eccentric,” Marissa told her man, which pretty much sums it up.
Is there drama to come? Well, we know from the previews that Marissa eventually does meet Bohdan IRL at a party, and the two make eyes at each other. Is this just a friendly meeting of exes or is something else going to go down? Hard to say, but we are leaning toward the former.
Did they get married on the show, and are they still together?
Still tbd, but we have a good feeling about these two!
