Are Marissa & Ramses Back Together From Love Is Blind Season 7?

Are Marissa & Ramses Back Together From Love Is Blind Season 7?

Marissa and Ramses weren’t an obvious match from the beginning of Love Is Blind, but after a brief love triangle involving Bodhan, Marissa chose Ramses and the two didn’t really look back after that. In fact, their first meeting seemed to prove that the chemistry was there in person too, and the two went on to have an idyllic time in Mexico, returning to “real life” as one of the strongest couples.

Once they were living together, though, challenges popped up. From Marissa’s mom being anything but supportive, and insisting the couple get a prenup, to the two going back and forth about their positions on the US military, to Ramses telling Marissa’s friends he would divorce her if she ever went back into the military, the couple had their moments. And yet, they seemed to be in sync despite them. That is, until a birth control conversation, just like in Love is Blind Season 6, derailed them a bit.

During the conversation, Ramses expressed he didn’t want kids in the immediate future, and Marissa then suggested they needed to use condoms as she didn’t want to be on birth control. Ramses seemed a little taken aback and explained that sex with condoms just wasn’t enjoyable. There didn’t seem to be any conclusion to the conversation, but this was only the first crack in their seemingly perfect façade.

In the next batch of episodes, we see Marissa not feeling well and Ramses seemingly concerned about the physical part of their relationship and whether that’s always going to be as good as it was in Mexico. Marissa also points out how uninvolved he’s been in wedding planning, telling him she needs his help and input with things, to which Ramses seems to understand, but also responds that he’s been dealing with a lot.

Then came the final nail in the coffin, with their conversation at the beginning of the last episode ending in Ramses calling off the wedding, despite the fact that he never actually had a good reason why, just vibes, telling Marissa that he couldn’t see their “energy coexisting in the same space” for a long period of time. Marissa, of course, took this very hard.

Marissa and Ramses went from a sure thing to a terrible breakup in the last batch of Love is Blind episodes. But did the two of them rekindle their love after the show ended? Or did they go the way Hannah and Nick and Alex and Tim did?

Are Marissa & Ramses from Love Is Blind season 7 back together?

Marissa and Rames Love is Blind

The Love is Blind reunion won’t air until October 30, but we already have the answer to this question. Marissa and Ramses are not only not together, they don’t even talk to each other anymore. In an interview with Glamour after the last episode, Marissa said, “We saw each other a few times after [we broke up]. I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene of me crying and stuff. It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on.”

But she also added that, at some point, she felt hope. “I saw him a few times when I was in D.C., and there was one time where we talked one day for like, 8 and a half [or] 9 hours on the phone, and I thought we were gonna get back together after that.”

“[In] February or March, I did ask him if he wanted to get back together,” Marissa also told Glamour. “I’m not really ashamed to say that because I’m someone who’s like, ‘If you feel it, you feel it, like, what’s the worst that can happen?’ And he’s like, ‘Nah.’ So after that, we just stopped communication.”

Despite this, Marissa said in an interview that “It was all worth it. It’s such a fun experience,” and added that she had “no complaints,” and that she still believes love is blind. It just wasn’t meant to be between her and Ramses.
