Back in store, but for a limited time only, are the supermarket’s iconic Lip Kits, the Dyson hairdryer dupe and new tropical beauty balms inspired by Sol De Janerio – to name a few.

Visage Iconic Hairdryer – £14.99

Aldi’s iconic hairdryer is back and its a whopping £314 cheaper than the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer it’s design is said to be inspired by.

With a three year warranty, customers can choose from pink and grey, or blue and gold.

But what did Fabulous’ Beauty Writer, Mia Lyndon think of the hair dryer? She put it to the test and shared her thoughts…

“This is an ionic hairdryer, which uses negatively charged ions to tackle water molecules and dry your hair, rather than heat,” she explained.

“Whilst you should still use heat protection when blowdrying, this technology reduces damage which can otherwise lead to dryness, thinning and split ends.

“Ionic hairdryers also tend to dry your hair quicker and can help minimise frizz.

“The removable intake grille is a great feature, as it allows you to easily clean out the filter, which can otherwise lead to reduced efficacy and a burning smell.

“In comparison to Dyson, the ALDI hairdryer is more top-heavy, meaning it’s less comfortable and more laborious to use,” Mia noted.

“It usually takes me a while to dry my long, thick hair, so using this hairdryer would leave my hand aching.

“But, the hairdryer has a simple control panel, which allows you to increase the heat and speed, alongside a cool shot (which is great for locking in your look after styling).

“Dyson Supersonic has five attachments, whereas the Aldi hairdryer only has a styling concentrator attachment.

“And while this is great for smoothing your cuticles, resulting in less frizz and fewer flyaways, the attachment is difficult to attach and detach – I thought I was going to snap it off on my first attempt!

“Overall, it’s a good hairdryer for the price.”

Lacura Fabulash Mascara/Primer – £4.99

Said to promote stronger lashes, Aldi’s mascara/primer kit is “double duty beauty”.

Formulated with lash conditioning and strengthening ingredients including panthenol and Vitamin E, the primer fortifies lashes for the perfect mascara base, whilst the mascara amplifies lashes, that last all day and night without clumping.
