AFL great Nick Riewoldt has landed another media gig ahead of his return to Melbourne in 2025.
Riewoldt, who will join 7AFL’s coverage in 2025, will also be heard on the airwaves every morning as part of Triple M’s new breakfast show.
The 42-year-old will link up with Mick Molloy, Titus O’Reily and Rose Walton for the show, which is called Mick in the Morning, with Roo, Titus and Rosie.

Fan favourite Molloy is returning to hometown Melbourne after spending the past two years hosting Sydney’s breakfast show.
Riewoldt has spent the past two years in Texas with his wife Cath and three sons.
“After two rewarding years in Houston, Texas with Cath’s family, I’m excited to be returning home to Melbourne joining Mick and the Triple M Breakfast team back where it all started for me on radio,” he said.
“Triple M is a vibrant part of Melbourne’s heartbeat, celebrating the city’s spirit, its music, and its people. To be bringing the sounds and stories of Melbourne to life every day through our listeners is a privilege I don’t take for granted.”
Molloy, a diehard Richmond fan, hinted there will be plenty of footy chat
“I’m excited to be back behind the mic in my hometown, talking about all things Melbourne, with some of my favourite people every morning,” Molloy said in a statement.
“There’s a fair chance that the Tigers may come up from time to time; what could possibly go wrong?”
Riewoldt has been a leading voice in the AFL since his retirement in 2017.
As well as featuring across Seven’s weekly AFL match broadcasts, he will also appear on soon-to-be-announced mid-week programming.
“I’m excited about joining 7AFL and being part of the new vision for the network’s football coverage and programming in 2025 and beyond,” Riewoldt said two months ago.
“Seven has assembled a great team and I cannot wait to get started and working alongside the team in bringing the game directly to footy fans all over Australia.”
Riewoldt played 336 games for St Kilda and won six best and fairests in a glittering career.
