The Jets drove down the field and scored to make it a 14-0 game, and Saleh went to embrace his quarterback.

However, as Saleh went in for the hug, Rodgers pushed him away with two hands.

Fans were quick to notice the strange interaction and posted their thoughts on social media during the game.

“Well this looks great,” one fan said.

“Dude showing teenager attitude on national TV,” another fan said.

“Too early for a hug?? Guess Rodgers needs his happy pills,” a third fan said.

“Not sure what happened. Looks mostly negative from rodgers,” a fourth fan said.

The clip got such a huge amount of attention that Rodgers was forced to address it in his postgame conference.

“He’s not a big hugger, usually, so I didn’t know he was going for the hug,” he said.

“He likes to do the two-hand chest push as well. He talks a lot about two-score leads.

Saleh gave the same answer about the incident, saying Rodgers was emphasizing the two-score lead.

“Talking about just giving the defense a two score lead,” he said.

Rodgers had his breakout game with the Jets on Thursday, passing for 281 yards with two touchdowns.
