IT’S possible to have fun while remaining frugal thanks to one popular US theme park that offers low-cost thrills.

The park took the top spot for its budget-friendly admission and even offers free items for all visitors.

After reviewing the cost of 42 parks in 22 states, HomeToGo, the world’s largest vacation rental platform, compiled a list of the most affordable destinations.

They reviewed factors including the price of admission, parking, and accommodations.

With a score of 44.21 out of 50, Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana was named “the most affordable park,” according to Attractions Magazine.

The park offers plenty of perks for a low price, including world-class roller coasters.

Visitors can even splash around in their neighboring Splashin’ Safari water park.

The park, which averages around $117.46 per day, also offers some fun freebies.

Guests will also enjoy free unlimited soft drinks – including – refills -and even supplies of sunscreen throughout both parks.

You won’t ever pay for parking either.

No special tickets are required for the free items offered.

They also have daily deals where guests can save on food and treats.

With complimentary Wifi, they assessed that the value goes even beyond the ticket, parking, and accommodation costs.

Cedar Point in Ohio, Six Flags Great America in Illinois, Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark, and Adventureland in Iowa, all took the following spots.

The average total price for a 2024 theme park vacation is $187.11 per person – this up from $180.12 in 2023.

“American travelers indicated that they prioritize cost when selecting destinations,” said Eleanor Moody, a HomeToGo spokesperson, on why they conducted the study.

You can also enjoy an inner tube ride on the Midwestern water park’s Bahari lazy river, while their giant family wave pool features geysers, sprays, and jets.

You can even book your own cabana.

They also offer juggling, magic, and comedy shows for guests of all ages.

A flexible any-day ticket is always for $74.99 at the gate or $69.99 when booked online.

They also offer season passes for $235 that includes 20% off food and merchandise.

You can even bring a friend to share in the fun twice a month.

The park offers plenty of rides including the Mammoth Water Coaster, the world’s longest water coaster.

The seven-story coaster spans three acres.

You also won’t have to wait for the holidays to get a seat at the Thanksgiving table – or a gravy themed ride.

That’s because they are also home to the world’s first gravy-themed rollercoaster.

The Good Gravy! coaster that cost over $10 million to build spans 1,500 feet.
