KAY Adams has come out with a remarkable prediction for one NFL rookie.
An avid Chicago Bears fan, the Up And Adams host was recently joined on her FanDuel TV show by 22-year-old wideout Rome Odunze.
Adams told the first-round rookie that given his “skillset and what you can do, the situation you’re walking into, I think might be talking to the best wide receiver Chicago will ever have.”
“That’s what I think. Is that crazy?” she asked.
A Consensus All-American and two-time All-Pac-12 First-Teamer, Odunze was drafted after back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons with Washington.
Last season, en route to the National Championship game, Odunze totaled a career-best 1,640 yards (most in the nation) and 13 touchdowns (sixth most in the nation).
Diving deeper into the history of Bears wideouts, Adams explained that statistically speaking Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton (4,538 yards) is the team’s fourth-best receiver.
Alshon Jeffrey (4,595) is third, Harlon Hill (4,616) second, and Johnny Morris (5,059) first.
“I appreciate that,” Odunze responded.
“That’s big goals to strive for, something like that. That definitely is on my list.”

Adams’ prediction drew a fair few reactions from excited Bears fans on X.
“That’ll take him about 3 years to accomplish,” one joked.
“Bold. And – love it,” said a second.
“Rome is going to be Chris Olave 2.0!! Been screaming it since the draft that he has the smooth operation skills of some of the best route runners in the NFL. Great catch radius too,” added another.
“Still drafted in the top 10 overall, has potential to reach CeeDee Lamb levels of greatness. Let’s go Rome.”
While a fourth replied, “Hopefully it’s after breaking DJ Moore’s new WR franchise records
Last season – in what was his first for the Bears – Moore led the team in receiving yards with 1,364.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several sites now:
Before purchasing tickets on resale websites check pricing as they are third-party sellers and, importantly, the cost can vary depending on demand. You may pay more than an official ticket, though you can also get good last-minute deals too.
But if you can’t be there in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.
You can also keep up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The U.S. Sun.
This was also the fourth most in a single season in franchise history.
As a result, the 27-year-old penned a new four-year deal worth $110 million this preseason.
Moore and Odunze will also be joined by newly signed six-time Pro Bowl wideout Keenan Allen in what is a new-look offense.
This ultra-talented receiving corps will have one of the most highly anticipated rookie quarterbacks in recent history, Caleb Williams, to work with in 2024 after he was drafted first overall.
If this wasn’t enough firepower, the Bears also have tight end Cole Kmet and newly acquired running back D’Andre Swift at their disposal.
Chicago’s revamped offense will have its first true test on September 8 when they host the Tennessee Titans in their season opener.
