MICHAEL Cohen, the former attorney and fixer for Donald Trump was spotted at the the Democratic National Convention.
Cohen, who told the U.S. Sun he is a lifelong Democrat, said he is attending the DNC because wants to offer his support to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
“I wanted to be here,” Cohen told the U.S. Sun.
“I’ve been a Democrat my entire life,” he explained.
Cohen says it has been a common misconception that he was a Republican due to his affiliation with Trump.
“This notion that because Donald Trump ran as a Republican… In fact, Donald was a Republican, then a Democrat, an independent, then back to a Republican,” he said of his former boss.
“So it is important not just to me, but I think these conventions are important to every Democrat and anybody who is a voter,” he said.
When asked if he was disappointed that he wasn’t invited to speak, Cohen smiled and said “Absolutely not.”
This comes as:
“I assure you, if I was up on that stage, there would need to be a 15-20 second delay,” Cohen said alluding to his “potty mouth” and feelings towards Trump.
Cohen also compared the Republican convention last month, and others that he has attended in the past, to this year’s DNC.
“You can’t compare,” said Cohen.
“This is a distinction between day and night,” he explained.
“You’re talking about one that is filled with nonsense – WWE, Amber Rose, you got Kid Rock jumping around and screaming.”
“Here, you have individuals talking about legitimate policy that concerns all Americans,” he said.
“Actually, it concerns the whole world,” he said regarding the importance of this election.
“The dichotomy could not be greater between not just the two candidates, but between the conventions for their nominations.
Cohen wasn’t the only former Trump employee at the DNC speaking out against their former boss.
Stephanie Grisham, the former president’s ex-press secretary, was also present at the convention among a group of anti-Trump Republicans who took the stage to speak about the dangers of a second Trump term.
HUSH MONEY TRIAL
The former lawyer recently made national headlines after testifying against his former boss that he made a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star, Stormy Daniels for her silence about her and Trump’s alleged affair in the leadup to the 2016 election.
Cohen was the star witness in Trump’s criminal case in New York that saw him become the first former president convicted of a felony.
Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies for falsifying business records in regard to the payment for Daniels and Cohen’s reimbursement after the election.
During the six-week trial, 20 witnesses were called to the stand, including Cohen, Daniels, and former publisher of the National Enquirer, David Pecker.
Prosecutors said that just two months after announcing his presidential campaign in August 2015, Trump met with Cohen and Pecker at Trump Tower, where they hatched a plan to bury any negative stories about the candidate to help get him elected.
Pecker testified that he bought and buried two stories about Trump, including one involving an alleged affair with Playboy model Karen McDougal, who claims she and Trump had an ongoing affair between 2006 and 2007 when Melania Trump was pregnant with their son Barron.
“You’re talking about one [convention] that was filled with nonsense – WWE, Amber Rose, you got Kid Rock jumping around and screaming. Here, you have individuals talking about legitimate policy that concerns all Americans”

Pecker told the court that Cohen paid $150,000 to squash the story on the orders of the former president.
Daniels took the stand as well, giving a shocking seven-hour testimony, going into great detail on her alleged affair with Trump.
She described how the pair had met and even went into detail about their alleged sexual encounter.
So much so that the judge asked Daniels to tone back some of the in-depth graphic details she was providing on the stand.
The adult film star said she first met a then 60-year-old Trump in 2006 at the Lake Tahoe Golf Tournament when she was 27.
Daniels said Trump struck up a conversation with her.
She told the court she eventually asked Trump about his wife, to which she alleges he told her “not to worry about that,” and that the couple don’t even sleep in the same bed.
She also told the court that after going to the bathroom in his hotel room, she walked out to find Trump sitting on the bed wearing his “boxer shorts and T-shirt,” which she described as a “jump scare.”
“The next thing I know, I was on the bed,” Daniels said.
“I had my clothes and my shoes off. I believe my bra, however, was still on.”
She then testified that the two had unprotected sex, with Trump telling Daniels afterward that “we have to get together again soon.”
Trump then had Cohen pay Daniels a $130,000 “hush money” settlement made ahead of the 2016 election to keep her quiet about the affair.
But when Trump went to pay Cohen back after being elected, he listed the expenses as a “retainer fee,” which prosecutors said was one of the 34 falsified documents.
Trump denied this ever happened, his attorney argued that Daniels fabricated the affair with Trump as a money grab after she secured a $800,000 book contract to sell her story.
But Cohen testified he made those payments on the former president’s behalf after the Access Hollywood tape was released to mitigate any further harmful narratives that could hinder his electability.
Cohen also previously said he violated campaign finance laws “for the principal purpose of influencing” the 2016 presidential election under Trump’s direction.
The now-disbarred attorney testified that he met with Trump in early 2017 at the White House to begin discussing repayment for the hush money.
Cohen detailed to jurors how he submitted multiple false invoices for legal services and retainer fees to the Trump Organization, and that the then-president had signed off on monthly checks to Cohen of $35,000.
Cohen told the jury that his job at the Trump organization was to do “whatever” the former president wanted.
“The only thing that was on my mind was to accomplish the task, to make him happy,” he said.
But as the DNC is wrapping up on Thursday, Trump awaits sentencing – currently scheduled for September 18.
