Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted a welcome party for delegates in Chicago ahead of the Democratic National Convention.
One protester was seen grabbing a microphone from a person on stage at the event on Sunday night, according to videos posted on social media.
“150,000 people are dead,” the protester yelled. “You are funding a genocide. The Harris-Biden administration keeps sending money to Israel.” People in the audience could be heard chanting “free Palestine” as the protester was escorted off the stage by security.
