MILEY Cyrus has just become the youngest Disney Legend ever.
The singer cried about her past wild antics and apologized to Mickey Mouse for them.
“I definitely wasn’t created in a lab,” Miley, 31, said during her speech.
“And if I was, there must have been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and 2016.”
The crowd laughed and cheered as Miley shrugged.
“Sorry, Mickey!” she ended.
Miley is the youngest person to be named a Disney Legend at the awards, which took place on Sunday, in Anaheim, California.
A Disney Legend is defined as “an individual who has significantly influenced the company and left their mark on the industry.”
13 other people – Angela Bassett, costume designer Colleen Atwood, park members Martha Blanding and James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Marvel comic artist Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, animator Mark Henn, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa, imagineer Joe Rohde, and John Williams – were honored with the status of Legend at the awards.
‘THIS IS THE LIFE’
Miley went on to talk about her time on the Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana, which ran from 2006 to 2011.
“I had gotten a taste of what my life could be, and from that moment on, I did not want anything else,” she said of her breakthrough role.
“A little bit of everything has changed… but at the same time, nothing has changed at all. I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana.”
“In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life’,” she said before she got emotional.
She wiped away tears as she talked about the role that made its indelible mark on Disney Channel.
MILEY GETS EMOTIONAL
After Miley received the award from country singer, Lainey Wilson, who sang the Hannah Montana theme song, The Best of Both Worlds, she got emotional.
“I’m gonna let everybody get on a little Disney Legend secret. I’m the one that tells you what you’re not supposed to know. And what I want to say, is that legends get scared, too,” Miley said.
I definitely wasn’t created in a lab and if I was, there must have been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and 2016.”

“I’m scared right now, but the difference is we do it anyway, and all of you can do that every single day.”
“It’s legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try,” Miley finished as she wiped away tears.
CAN’T BE TAMED
Along with starring in Hannah Montana, Miley also began her singing career.
Her rebellious years started in 2010 with her album, Can’t Be Tamed, bringing edgier sounds to her music.
Miley’s next album, Bangerz, was released in 2013.
By then, she had completely shedded her sweet Disney persona.
She attended the VMAs that year and twerked in a small bodysuit on Robin Thicke as they performed his song Blurred Lines.
Her music video for her song Wrecking Ball had her swinging on the giant ball naked.
Miley also cut off her long brown hair and traded it in for a short blonde cut.
The Bangerz era had Miley sticking her tongue out all of the time, drinking, and getting a bad reputation.
Miley seemed to apologize for those antics in her recent song Used to Young, in which she wore a Mickey Mouse shirt in the music video.
“I know I used to be crazy
I know I used to be fun
You say I used to be wild
I say I used to be young,” she sings.
