Cyberattacks grip U.S. hospital systems

The Ascension Healthcare Network, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit and Catholic health systems, says a “cyber security event” disrupted its clinical operations Wednesday. Threat intelligence company Cyble says there have been 77 ransomware attacks on the U.S. health care sector since the beginning of February.
