Anna Duggar has been spotted for the first time in years as her husband, Josh Duggar, continues to serve his nearly 13-year prison sentence.
In photos obtained by The U.S. Sun, Anna, 36, could be seen leaving a community event in Arkansas on Tuesday, December 10.
The 19 Kids and Counting alum wore her brown hair down and kept her outfit casual, opting for a cream and brown colored sweater with light-wash skinny jeans and a pair of sneakers.
Per the outlet, Anna walked to her car with one of her and Josh’s kids but did not specify which of the seven it was. The pair married in 2008 and share seven kids: Mackynzie, 15, Michael, 13, Marcus, 11, Meredith, 9, Mason, 7, Maryella, 5, and Madyson, 3.
Earlier this month, the outlet shared rare photos of Josh from prison — marking the first time he had been seen since 2022.
In the photos taken on Friday, November 22, the now disgraced TV personality walked on the outdoor track in the prison yard at Federal Correction Institute Seagoville in Texas. Josh donned a brown shirt, shorts, and sunglasses, and sported a mustache and beard — a change from his clean-shaven look.
In April 2021, the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar was arrested in Arkansas on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh pleaded not guilty, but in December 2021, the court found him guilty of the child pornography charges, and he was sentenced in May 2022.
Anna has stuck by her husband’s side throughout his public scandal. The couple’s youngest child was born in November 2021, about seven months after Josh’s child pornography arrest.
The TLC alum has made many appeal attempts in his case — all of which have been shut down. First, in January 2022, Josh’s lawyer filed for an acquittal, which was rejected. Then, in June 2022, Josh’s appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit was shot down. The most recent appeal failure was in June 2024 when the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Josh’s attorney, Justin Gelfand’s appeal.
