The makers of Wicked have unveiled the title of the sequel. The film will be officially called Wicked: For Good and will be released on November 21, 2025. The sequel will continue from where the story of Wicked ended. The first instalment was released in theatres in November this year.
Sharing a motion poster, the makers wrote, “You will be changed. Wicked: For Good, only in theaters November 21, 2025.”

It starred Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in lead roles along with Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Peter Dinklage and Jeff Goldblum among others.
Jon M. Chu, who directed the film, will be back in the director’s chair for the sequel. Wicked became his highest-grossing film and the highest-grossing OZ film.
