New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara’s availability status will remain unclear due to a groin injury he sustained on Sunday.
Kamara’s injury is a groin abductor that Saints head coach Darren Rizzi said Kamara had noted felt minor when he endured it while reeling in a third quarter touchdown pass thrown by wide receiver Cedric Wilson Jr. on a trick play, according to ESPN Saints reporter Katherine Terrell.
Kamara made a spectacular over the shoulder one-handed grab just inside the pylon before tumbling over at full speed out of bounds on the play.
He departed the game for the medical tent before being designated with a questionable to return status.
Kamara had logged five carries for 12 yards and four catches for 58 yards with the one score at the point of his departure.
