Katherine Schwarzenegger is enjoying her life as a mom to her adorable kids, and her latest photos are proof! The author shared the first picture of her newborn son, Ford, with her husband, Chris Pratt, in an Instagram post on Friday, December 6.
Katherine, 34, simply captioned the photo dump “November” with a blue heart emoji. It featured a picture of her son’s tiny feet in a pair of white socks and matching pants. In another slide, Katherine showed off Ford’s tiny blue onesie, which had the Ford logo printed across the front in red, white and blue lettering.
“What a beautiful gift for the holidays,” one person commented on the post, while another said, “What beautiful memories you’ve made.”
In other photos featured in the set, Katherine and Chris’ two daughters, Lyla and Eloise, were seen wearing matching Christmas pajamas. The little ones became big sisters when Katherine and Chris welcomed Ford on November 8. Chris, 45, also shares son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2018.
“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” the couple announced on Instagram on November 11. “Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
Shortly after Ford’s birth, Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, shared a post on Facebook celebrating the baby boy’s arrival.
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the arrival of sweet baby Ford! Congratulations to Katherine Schwarzenegger, Chris Pratt, Lyla, Eloise, and Jack,” she wrote on November 12. “In moments like these, I’m reminded of the importance of nurturing a world filled with kindness, compassion, and acceptance for every child.”
“May we all do our part to build a brighter, gentler world for them to grow into — a world where they can feel safe, loved, and free to be who they truly are,” Maria, 69, added. “Welcome to the world, little one. You are already so loved.”
On November 13, Maria shared a photo with her daughter on Instagram, writing a heartfelt caption about motherhood.
“This photo of me and @katherineschwarzenegger popped up this morning, and it made me so happy. For me, this is what love looks like, feels like,” she penned. “It’s pure joy. It’s warm, protective, safe, exuberant.”
“I wanted to share because Katherine gave birth a few days ago, and it reminds me again how heroic it is to give birth — really, really heroic!
