Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are set to face off against one another in the first-ever live-streamed boxing fight on Netflix. The only issue is that the world-famous streaming company did not account for the millions of people who are tuning in to try and see this historic match.
Fans all over the internet have been blasting Netflix for the poor quality of its streaming, with some stating they cannot even watch the fight despite having good internet speeds.
Here are some of the responses on X from fans who are irate at Netflix:
The above X post has a good point in that the servers are only going to get more jam-packed when the Tyson and Paul fight is set to go down. To be fair, Netflix is new to live-streamed events. They got into streaming comedy events from Chris Rock and Joe Rogan, but those likely pale in comparison to the number of people who want to see this boxing match.
The hope is that the streaming quality for the bout is going to settle down when Paul and Tyson make their walks to the ring. The poor streaming quality isn’t the only thing that Netflix is going to hear about.

The internet also lit on fire when the Netflix stream accidentally showed the bare backside of Tyson. Tyson was engaging in a pre-fight interview when he finished and turned around. However, the camera appeared to focus on Tyson, who was not wearing any underwear.
The internet is known for putting together memes that last for months or even years in terms of popularity. The bare backside of Tyson is likely going to make the internet rounds for weeks to come.
For now, everyone is tuning into Netflix to see Paul and Tyson throw down with one another. Time will tell about who will be victorious. Will it be the 10-1 up-and-coming boxer in Paul, or will it be the greatest heavyweight boxer the world has ever seen in Tyson?
Either way, the world is clearly tuning in to see the pair face off. Everyone has been pointing to Tyson’s age of 58 as the biggest issue of this fight, but Tyson has showcased that he still has elite skill and speed at his age.
For now, Netflix will need to start working overtime to ensure that these buffering issues do not cause more issues during the big fight.
