SHOPPERS have praised a Costco in Spain for its “delicious” food that’s not available in the US.

It didn’t take long for resentful Reddit users to share their desire for American Costco to be more like this one in Las Rozas, Madrid.

The original Reddit post on r/Costco said: “I tried the chicken strips, and French Fries. Chicken was A+. Fries a B.

“They actually have a frier on site, and not just rewarmed.

“It came with a BBQ sauce , and a garlic sauce package.

“The hot dog was a huge brilliant surprise.

“You order with onions, or without, and they’re placed between the bun and dog if you opt in.

“And the hot dog actually tasted better than the USA version.

“Now I have foreign Costco envy again.

“I was reminded of enjoying the Chili filled jacket potatoes in England.

Mexico City was identical to USA except for jalapenos and mayo at the the ready.”

The post had the caption: “Costco Madrid food court was incredibly delicious.

A number of comments expressed a similar Costco envy, slamming the US Costco as they begged for changes to the chain.

One comment read: “Give us Americans a fryer you cowards!

Another asked the painfully rhetorical question: “Why does everywhere else have chicken tenders and fries except the US?”

In perhaps the most ardent comment, one user shouted into the Reddit void: “It’s so upsetting that every country has a much better food court menu.

“What gives, why can’t we get cool stuff?

“At least add a burger or something.

“We can’t even get onions for our hot dogs in America!”

Costco Return Policy

What are the details of the famous return policy?

“We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price,” the return policy states.

There are a few exceptions to this 100% satisfaction guarantee which are:

  • Electronics – Returns will be accepted within 90 days of the date the member received the product.
  • Diamonds – 1.00ct or larger must be returned with all original paperwork within 48 hours and they will be inspected for authenticity.
  • Cigarettes and alcohol – These items cannot be returned by law.
  • Items with a limited useful life expectancy such as batteries and tires cannot be returned.
  • Special Order Kiosk and Custom Installed Programs can only be returned or refunded if under warranty repair/replacement.
  • Gold bullion, bars, and silver coins are non-refundable.
  • Shop Cards are non-refundable.
  • Airline and Live Performance Event items are non-refundable.

Costco memberships can be canceled and refunded at any time if a customer is dissatisfied.

The patriotic message sparked others sharing their food horror stories, in an act of solidarity with the frustrated foodie.

This led to a brutal attack on the UK’s food quality, suggesting that nobody is safe from the wrath of the American Reddit thread.

One reply read: “I’m in the UK.

“I ask for no onions, not because I don’t like onions but because these ones must be pre frozen.

“They’re incredibly soggy.

“The bread is wet with them.”

The Reddit post has over 290 likes and 60 comments.

It is unknown whether US Costco plans to make any changes to its menu.
