A TIKTOKER makes up to $800 a day with his weekend side hustle and says anyone can do it.

Side hustles can be a great way to regain control over your financial security, work-life balance, passions, and confidence.

The rise of TikTok has also contributed to the awareness of side hustles as it can be an effective platform for promotions and advertisements.

Adam, known as @realworldsidehustles on TikTok, uses his platform to share with his 261,600 followers how he makes “easy” money.

The hustler began his party rental business when he was 22, and within four years, he says he was making $300,000 a year.

Now, he “brings on over $1 million each year.”

In one particular video, Adam explained that hiring out chairs is something “nearly anyone can do, and it does not cost that much to get into.”

Party rental businesses hire out various equipment so that an event runs smoothly and meets the client’s expectations.

Adam hired out a range of equipment but spoke briefly about the chairs.

He says your base mark, depending on the area, is $300 to $500, but some will pay $800 for you to set their event up.

You could for example, solely rent out your chairs for wedding ceremonies.

Perhaps you are taking your chairs to a park, and the chairs can’t stay there overnight – you could drop them off, spend a day in the place of delivery if you wish, then pick them up again and go home.

Adam understands people may be put off this idea if they believe they don’t have enough storage to keep equipment or they don’t have a truck to deliver it.

To this, he says: “That’s true. Maybe. You could do all of this in a minivan.”

“You could do this with an SUV and a small trailer. It’s not that crazy.”

Side hustles and tax implications

Extra income you make from side hustles may need to be reported to the IRS.

If you receive more than $600 in gross payouts from a selling platform like eBay, the site will issue you a Form 1099-K to use in your tax return.

Individuals should calculate their adjusted gross income, taxable earnings, and deductions for the year.

Once they have that, they can use the 1040-ES form to calculate estimated taxes.

In the video, Adam points to the rental chairs and says “Rental chairs are made to stack.”

The chairs do appear to be fold-ups, so when laying flat they do indeed take up far less room than non collapsable chairs.

If you are interested in hiring out equipment for wedding ceremonies, Adam says ceremonial arches are also made to be taken apart – again, making them less awkward to transport around.

He added: “It’s feasible, people.”
