The style enthusiast described them as “one of my biggest thrift finds” in a video shared on TikTok.

The sandals seemed to be in good condition with no visible scratches on the black leather or cowboy gold buckles.

A quick search online revealed they were from luxury brand Celine’s Phoebe Philo 2015 collection.

Lauren discovered that other owners of the sandals were able to sell them on Poshmark for up to $1,000.

“Paid $10, worth $1,000,” read the text over her video.

She described her shopping experience at Goodwill as a “crazy trip” after scoring the impressive deal.

The video went viral with over 23,000 likes and a flood of viewers took to the comment section admitting they were amazed.

“Wow this makes me want to go thrift shopping and I never do,” one person wrote.

“This is what happens when persons in the store don’t know the designer,” another said.

“I would simply faint,” a third chimed in.

“My jealousy knows no bounds,” another added.

Many viewers complained they never find bargains during their thrift shopping trips.

While others confessed they would’ve walked past the shoes not knowing their value.

Lauren’s impressive find at Goodwill comes after Matt Sanderson, 26, revealed he makes up to $3,000 a month by reselling designer items.

He spends his weekends visiting thrift stores in Seattle, Washington, while working as a graphic designer during the week.

Valuable thrifting finds revealed

Here are some of the best thrift store finds:

Arriving at places such as Goodwill as soon as they open, allows him plenty of time to pick up 10-20 new items.

He uses eBay to check the likelihood of the items selling before going ahead with his purchase and listing.

Matt was able to resell sweatpants from a streetwear brand for $20 that he bought for $155.

A Louis Vuitton wallet purchased for $11 was sold for $160 once he authenticated it.

He revealed his side hustle isn’t all glamour as he’s found drugs, toenail clippings, and random yellow goop hidden inside items bought from thrift stores.
