LUKE LITTLER created history yet again after reeling off SIX legs in succession to maul Michael van Gerwen.
The teen sensation crushed the Dutch star 6-1 in the quarter-finals of the Czech Darts Open in Prague.
Littler hit six 180s and MVG’s 112.19 average was the biggest losing total in the history of the PDC European Tour.
It was a game of unbelievable quality with the players trading 11 maximums and Littler delivered a third successive average in excess of 110.
He said: “The first leg was very slow, Michael obviously won that leg. But after it I just switched the gears and I’ve done another 110-plus average.
“I had to pick my shots everything I could because I know Michael was right behind me.
“If I had finished it he would have punished me. I think that’s the most (180s) I’ve ever been involved with. People can obviously check my past games. I think that was the most.”
Commentator Dan Dawson admitted: “This is one of the best Euro tournaments anyone has ever produced.”
Fans were also left in awe at Littler’s display, although he went on to lose to eventual champion Luke Humphries in the semis.
One reacted saying: “I can’t even bring myself to take the p*** out of that 112.19 average and getting absolutely battered. Luke Littler is an absolute freak of nature.”
