MICHAEL Strahan didn’t hold back in his requests to Terry Bradshaw during a live TV sequence on Fox NFL Sunday.
The New York Giants icon, 51, appeared on the Week 6 edition of the hit program.
During Fox NFL Sunday, the panel discussed the Week 6 matchup between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Strahan gave his two cents on the contest and brought up Pro Bowl pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson, whom he called “one of the biggest difference-makers” of the NFL.
“After the bye week, [Hutchinson is] still leading the league in sacks with six-and-a-half. And the [quarterback] pressures,” Strahan said.
Strahan caused Bradshaw to interrupt him as the Pittsburgh Steelers icon said, “I did the song already. Pressure!”
Bradshaw referred to an earlier moment in the show in which he pretended to sing the Queen and David Bowie classic song Under Pressure during an argument concerning New England Patriots rookie quarterback David Bowie.
Strahan wasn’t rocking with Bradshaw’s attempt at singing, however.
“Please don’t do that. Please don’t do that again,” he told Bradshaw.
“You might get sued for ruining their song.”
The panel, including Bradshaw, laughed at Strahan’s remark.
Fox NFL colleague Howie Long seemed to agree with Strahan but even took a step further.
“Freddie Mercury’s rolling over [in] his grave, the NFL Hall of Famer said about Bradshaw’s attempt at singing.
Bradshaw stood next to Long and playfully hit Long’s arm after the comment.
The Lions went on to clobber the Cowboys 47-9.
Unfortunately, Hutchinson suffered a horror injury that caused the contest to be delayed by 10 minutes as he received treatment.
He suffered the injury in the third quarter when trying to sack Dak Prescott.
Hutchinson’s leg snapped just above the ankle after he made contact with teammate Alim McNeill while dragging the Cowboys signal-caller to the ground.
The former first-round pick was in severe pain as the medics rushed onto the field.
Hutchinson was carted to the locker room as his teammates and the Cowboys players were seen emotional on the field.
The NFL star needed immediate surgery in a Dallas hospital.
Hutchinson received a successful surgery and he is now out for the season with a tibia injury.
