As the search ramps up for the missing real estate agent, Brad was arrested on Wednesday for family violence charges in connection to his wife. The couple has been married for 22 years and have four kids together.

The Olmos Park Police Department said investigators found evidence and heard eyewitness testimony that there was a physical altercation that occurred between the couple on Sunday night at their home in Olmos Park, Texas, which is a suburb of San Antonio.

Suzanne was last seen at a private club called The Argyle on Sunday evening for a party. She was last spotted wearing a long black dress and heels.

An arrest warrant affidavit obtained by local ABC affiliate KSAT-TV said that a neighbor told cops he heard Brad, 53, and Suzanne arguing outside his bedroom window sometime between 10 and 11 pm on Sunday.

When the neighbor looked out his window, he said he saw the couple, who have been married for 22 years, in a physical altercation where Suzanne was trying to get away from Brad.

The neighbor told cops that Brad “was clearly attempting to keep Ms. Simpson from running away,” the affidavit said.

He told police he saw the couple walking away before he later heard two or three screams coming from a woodsy area near their homes, the affidavit said.

About an hour later, the neighbor saw Brad leave the house in his 2019 black GMC pickup truck before returning a few hours later.

The affidavit said that on Monday afternoon, their kid’s school called Brad to tell him that their child hadn’t been picked up from school.

Brad told police that Suzanne usually picks up their kid from school, according to the affidavit.

He reported his wife as missing on Monday night, nearly 24 hours after she was last seen.

Police interviewed workers at the school where one of their kids attends on Tuesday afternoon, the affidavit said.

Their daughter told staff that her parents were “fighting,” and that her dad hurt her mom and took her phone away, the affidavit said.

The kid also reported that Suzanne had a bruise on her elbow.

Police were seen searching in the wooded area near the Simpsons’ home in Olmos Park on Tuesday evening.

Texas Department of Safety Sergeant Deon Cockrell told local CBS affiliate KENS that officials are “looking for anything.”

“As long as she’s missing, we’ll continue to search for her in any possible area where she may be missing or possibly located,” he said.

“We want to cover ground as much and as fast as we can so nothing gets cold or if she is injured or something, that we can get to her before she’s incapacitated. Or, worst case, somewhat further away.”
