Bella Hadid’s Paris Fashion Week Runway Walk Was a Homecoming

Supermodel Bella Hadid made her runway comeback yesterday at the Paris Fashion Week Saint Laurent Spring Summer 2025 show. She modeled a stunning black suit and tie with black frame sunglasses.

Hadid’s full look consisted of an oversized tailored double-breasted blazer with broad shoulders, layered over a fitted white shirt and black tie, and slouchily-tailored trousers and a pointed heel on bottom. The glam was pretty minimal—a slicked back bun parted in the middle and a natural makeup look. The sunglasses are making quite a lot noise, as online fashion fans noticed they resemble the ones commonly worn by Yves Saint Laurent himself. Plus, an academic, bookish pair of spectacles has never been more en vogue.

The last time we saw Bella Hadid on the runway was back in 2022, where she was the center of a viral Paris Fashion Week moment at the Coperni presentation. If you need your memory jogged, Hadid walked out in a pair of underwear and was sprayed with a white liquid fiber that stuck to itself, and then was trimmed into a dress as it dried on her body. After that, the model took a hiatus for her health. She’s since been very busy, falling in love, launching her perfume oil line, and doing all kinds of high serve behavior.

French actress Catherine Deneuve stands with fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, for whom she sometimes models.

Personally, very thrilled to see Bella Hadid back on a runway. It was not the same without the Mother Supreme of supermodels on the fashion week circuit. She’s also been streetstyled in Paris already, but that’s nothing new. The model has been in Cannes for the film festival and, of course, all over New York City.
