“I went to the local courthouse for early voting. They had no seating available, and the individual booths had tiny cardboard sides about four inches tall that could easily be looked over with no privacy. Husbands were standing over their wives. People were coming up behind me and hovering over me. Nobody said vote Trump out loud, but there were other comments being made in the line that had me staying quiet about my vote.”
“When I finished marking my paper, I had to walk through the middle of the crowd to a printer-like object and scan my paper in with everyone leaning in to see my vote. When I put my paper down on the machine to scan, several people made rude sounds when reading my vote. Entering the building, people were nice and smiling at me, but exiting, those same people were glaring and made it very difficult for me to get by with my cane.”
